The research about therapy is clear:
The most important factor in therapy is the quality of the relationship between you and your therapist. The trouble is, finding the right therapist for you can sometimes be difficult. At Treeline, we offer a 15-minute consultation, totally free of charge, to allow you the opportunity to speak with a therapist and see how you feel with them. If it's not the right fit, we will provide referrals and remain a point of contact until you find someone who's right for you.
Free 15-minute consultation
Speak with a therapist to determine if you might be a good match, without committing to a paid session. (NOTE: If you're seeking therapy with a partner or family member, it's best if all parties participate in the consultation.)
Family Therapy
At Treeline, we believe that every child can thrive in a nurturing environment. Toward that end, we partner with caregivers in therapy to discover new perspectives and build practical skills that empower every member of the family to be part of the solution.

Family therapy can also be an incredible place of healing for families with older children (i.e. adolescents or adults) as well. Sometimes, even a small handful of sessions can be enough to alleviate years– even generations –of pain. Scheduling the first session is often the hardest part.

Couples Therapy
This is often the best way to address concerns about your intimate partnership. Couples therapy provides a safe space to improve your problem-solving process, break unhelpful patterns, and renew your sense of connection.
Couples therapy does not need to be a "last resort"– it can even be preventative (e.g. premarital counseling). Often, couples choose to schedule a few sessions just to establish a relationship with a therapist– even when there's no immediate crisis– so they have a foundation ready for the future. The best time to start is now.

AAMFT Approved Supervision
Stepping into the role of Therapist can be exhilarating and overwhelming at the same time. Clinicians at all career-stages can feel challenged by the task of being an effective support to those who are suffering, while at the same time managing their own struggles. With encouraging, supportive, and competent supervision, the often-uncertain and solitary experience of being a therapist can become less so.

Supervision offered by Treeline is "systems-oriented," meaning we believe in the primary importance of viewing clients as "systems embedded within systems." As a supervisee, you can expect to develop competence in couple and family therapy, as well as in using a "systems-persepctive" across modalities.

(NOTE: States vary regarding in-person supervision requirements when applying for licensure. Be sure to check with your state's requirements to ensure that remote supervision hours will be accepted as part of your license application.)
